ALL DECKED OUT!
Some pretty helpful visitors...
You've gotta love visitors like @freedompoint and @freedomtowrite. Not only do they like to show up and have a good time, they like to help too, and our families have been enjoying some amazing times together these past couple days. It's not all good food and fellowship though...
ALL HANDS ON DECK!
In this photo, you can see "the Yeti" AKA @freedompoint hard at work in front of our front deck. When we picked up our mobile home, we were offered a couple decks too, and since the price was right, we jumped at the offer...
Okay, maybe not literally "jumped" at the offer, but finally putting them in place did make me jump for joy! This was one of those next projects on my to do list that was a little too big for my five year old son "Monster Truck" and myself to tackle on our own. However, with @freedompoint, @freedomtowrite, and their children, "the big," "the middle," and "the little" we had those "many hands" required to make light, or at least lighter, work.
This was the smaller of the two decks, and we placed it at the back of the house. It required a good amount of effort to get to where we wanted, and then even more to get it all the way into position. We are very blessed to have had such willing helpers and this is such a nice thing to have. Rather than heading into our house out of the mud and red clay, we now have a raised deck to help separate the dirt and the house.
Having gained experience and confidence (please note @freedompoint modelling confidence in the photo above) on the back deck, we were ready to attempt getting the other one into place. With it being somewhat larger and longer, a call to rally the troops was made.
"All hands on deck!" Literally. With the pregnant @mama-pepper and our tiniest @little-peppers sitting out, everyone else pitched in to made this task a success. Now, our homestead will be forever better because the family of @freedompoint and @freedomtowrite stopped in for a visit.
As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

Looks good! Well done...:)...
And we will be extending the house out to the ...........
Those decks will be of great use with winter coming, should keep a lot of unwanted out of the house.
Awesome!!! Looks like a fun project, as always :)
The projects never end, and that's a good thing.
Oh yeah! It keeps us busy!
Looks great! good work!
