I want to be angry right now but then I remember who am I to feel this way when I already knew before hand that this life that I have do not belong to me and that my days are numbered and so is the days of my dearest grandmother.

La, your smile will always be in my heart. I love you with all my heart and I hope you know that. I hope that in our days spent together you felt that despite me being less affectionate.

I will miss you but I know that you are in good hands now. You are with the Lord and that you are happy now.

In there, will be no more worries and pain but pure and complete happiness with the Lord and that is what I desire for you to have.

Thank you for being the mother I knew.

Thank you for teaching me humility, for always showing me how to keep our feet on the ground no matter how far we soar.

Thank you for teaching me patience, for you have shown me tears no matter how many times people hurt you, you always say “Ginoo na ang bahala nila”. You showed me tears of understanding and so I learned to extend my patience to everyone I meet.

I know that you loved us all the same but I also know that I am your favorite. I do not know your reasons why but based in your stories, I was not a granddaughter to you but your youngest child, as if I was your own.

Thank you for the times spent La, I could not remember a time where you have not been so proud of me and even when you have all the reasons to be mad at me, you never did. You loved me most and we all do the same to you.

See you soon La. Enjoy your time with the Lord and I am looking forward to see your smile again.
