This may be hard for many, but I've always heard it's always right to do the right thing and always wrong to do the wrong thing. Integrity can be lost in an instant. There's a wise proverb that says, "Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves," and another that says, "As dead flies give perfume a bad smell, so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor."
