The first step to overcoming an unproductive day is to acknowledge that in the first place. Once you do that, you can now develop a plan of action.

- Stop being lazy and make a commitment to turning your day around. There are 24 hours in a day and all is not lost until the whole day is over.

- Get up and exercise. When you exercise, you are literally taking your body from a state of rest to a state of motion. This should jumpstart your body and provide momentum for the rest of the day.

- Clean and organize your rooms. When you do this, you are also organizing your mind. You will feel a sense of achievement as you see a clean place around you.

- Finish up on your projects and set targets. You can complete your small goals or have progress on your bigger projects by working towards it. It can be a set number of minutes, or some other paramter.

- Eat nutritious food. When you eat healthy, you will have the energy to do things and not be lazy.
