Introducing the Gorgeous ladies of Wrestling

I never quite get the fascination people have with wrestling before I watch GLOW. Somehow couple nights ago the pink neon light and glamorous 80s vibe caught my attention from the hundreds of other option I have on Netflix. Check out the trailer and let me tell you more about one of my latest favorite Netflix binging serie. (no spoiler, promised)

I love cheesy dorky funny series - a story about a group of women who responded to a casting call for unconventional women. Its a story of empowerment, friendship, and getting back on one's feet.

This can either feel dinky or epic, so let’s give them blood

Produced by the creator of Orange is the New Black, Jenji Kohan. Creator of GLOW, Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch were inspired by the documentary of the 80s serie; a Netflix version of the once so popular show.

Unlike all the shows in present time try to be inclusive and politically correctness, the new GLOW follows the heel of the original play purposely play on the stereotype.

"One of the greatest things about GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling was that not all of the ladies were, in fact, gorgeous, nor did they want to be." - The Ringer To me that is one of the beauty of GLOW - women feel empowered, respected and comfortable be in their own skin.

The verdict: watch now!

This show has so much more story to tell and I can’t wait for the next season! While in my house the reviews are bipolar, I’d still say - add this to your watchlist now and enjoy the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.

Recommend me a series please!

Now I finished GLOW, I need another good series to watch. If you have a favorite series you’d like to recommend it to me, share them with me in the comment. If you'd like a recommendation, tell me what series you like and I'll do my best to give you some suggestions 👯

If you like documentaries I would check out "documentary now " it's written by Bill Hader and Fred Armisen. It's a parody of many famous documentaries ...The first episode had me both scared and laughing

Woo!! Let me add it to my list - I can totally use something that makes me laugh and scared (?)

Just the first one is supposed to be based off a "camera crew goes missing" style of documentary. Each one parodies a different documentary...Its still a great watch!
