I have found my "mission statement"!

in #life7 years ago (edited)

A Sankalpa or mission statement is something you declare as if it is true (usually is short but this one isn't) and work on it everyday, is your intention, your power and you are suppose to be very conscious about it in your yoga, meditation and daily-life practice . Every. Single. Day. :) If I declare this to myself everyday and have it present I might become the person I intend to be and strive to be achieve it. I have decided to share it. Though it makes me a little nervous!

I am at my best when I love myself.
I will try to prevent times when I torture myself and get depressed.
I will enjoy my work by finding employment where I can organize.
I will find enjoyment in my personal life through helping.
I will find opportunities to use my natural talents and gifts such as languages, music, being a leader and organising.
I can do anything I set my mind to. I will learn new things.
My life's journey is studying myself things that allow me to help other people understand each other and themselves and make them achieve a common goal. I will do it because it makes me happy and also because I want to make other people happy. When I tidy or organize myself I become a better and happier human being, I want other to experience that too..
I will be a person who helps others, a generous human being, good friend, leader, smart, happy and talented. .
My most important future contribution to others will be help them be their best, help them find the best in themselves. Make them laugh and find their path.

I will stop procrastinating and start working on:

Accepting myself.
Loving myself.
Relaxing more.

I will strive to incorporate the following attributes into my life:

Smart, great reader, leader and loving partner, parent and daughter.
Tidy, organized, generous.
Disciplined, hard worker, humble.

I will constantly renew myself by focusing on the four dimensions of my life:

Swimming at least 3 times a week.
Stop drinking alcohol and eating junk food with my friends.
Eating more fruit.
Improving my sleeping routine.
Doing my yoga practice in the morning.
Writing more.
Meditating every day.
Stop worrying and start thanking.
Stop overthinking, relaxing more.
Reading more.
Writing more.
Have a studying routine.
Learning to say no.
Being more independent.
Being more comprehensive.
Stop feeling bad about the past.
Stop self-flagellation.

I invite you to try this yourself, of course it will be different than mine.
Remember: you can work very hard, but if you don't really know what you want or where you are going. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Cheers!
