The best Reminder for Incoming 1st Year College

in #life6 years ago

This Monday (June 18, 2018) is our first day of school as 1st year college. And while ago there's a post that caught my attention. This post is from Trivia Thoughts

Dear incoming first-year students, always remember that:

• College is not about competition, but survival

• Don't laugh at the mistakes of your classmates
or make fun of them just because they
mispronounced a single word or their grammar
isn't good. You're supposed to help each other,
not drag one another.

• It's okay to rest and feel tired but don't
overdo it.

• It's okay to unwind. Give yourself a space to
breathe.

• It's okay to cry but don't give up.

• Sleepless nights are nothing once you get your
diploma and degree. It will be worth it.

• Accept criticisms because that's another way of
learning.

• You will meet new friends and lose more
friends. It will make you realize that you don't
meet people by chance... You meet them with a
purpose.

• If you fail, try again.- Carpe Diem.

• Learn and experience new things. Be the YOU
you were not when you're in high school or
elementary.
Lastly...

• Even if you fail, don't give up because in
college, you will realize that the best life lesson
is failure because it will make you stronger and
better.
You have to fail in order to learn and
you have to learn in order to survive. Remember
that even the greatest and most famous men
these days once failed big in their lives

GOOD LUCK! DON'T GIVE UP!
