Barok and Rokoko
The progress of music in the Middle Ages was marked by the emergence of new musical genres, among them the Barok and Rokoko. Both streams are almost the same nature, namely the use of Ornamentik (Musical Decoration). The difference is that Baroque music uses Ornamentik which is left to spontaneous Improvisation by the player, whereas in Rokoko music all ornamentic ornaments are recorded.
