Riddle me this REBUS!
How many of you here know about a type of linguistic riddle called - ReBUS!!??
The main principle behind rebus is to use existing symbols and pictures to construct a riddle which is mainly solved by combining the sound that their name makes according to their pronunciation and regardless of the meaning.
Let me show you some example :
- The Rebus principle is the representation of the sentence "I can see you" by using the pictographs of "eye—can—sea—ewe.
