Dear @rok-sivante

This stuff of mine... one might be tempted to say I don't even have a right to voice anything resembling a complaint about this, when others have issues so severe.

Each one of us experience pain differently. It is true that other people may have more serious illnesses, etc, but that doesnt mean any one has the right to minimize what others are experiencing or feeling. Your pain is real at the moment you feel it and there is no doubt about it.

However, having a life full of hardships since I was born, I have always agreed with your sentence...

This isn't being "negative." It's being real, raw, authentic.

But now, I tend to disagree. Positive thinking, or to be more precise "Not thinking negatively", brought me a long way to heal many pains from my past. I have been diagnosed with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and severe Clinical depression) to the point that my brain has been rejecting my physical existence and I wished to die so much (But I didnt want to commit suicide for religious reasons) until I started bleeding (real blood) for no reason (at least medical checking didn't find a reason to it). The only association I found was whenever I get humiliated or very hurt psychologically, the bleeding would start immediately and would take sometime to stop.
Nowadays, I am feeling much better in term of depression and physical health. All because of the fact that I shifted my thinking from being absolutely negative (I was using the same hurtful words that my family used to attack me with in my mind to attack myself, like I was put in auto pilot mode). Just being determined to stop the barrage of negative words that constantly run inside my head made me feel much better.

I am now working to overwrite the negative messages with positive ones to make my mind a better audio/video output for my own sake.

However, from my experience, I find it funny yet scary how powerful our brains over our bodies and lives. But we have something that is more powerful than our brains, which is our minds. Its a hierarchy that we should use to our own benefit.

Thanks for sharing your post and for reading my comment :)

Bless you :D

jeez, talk about psychosomatic!

of course, all has its time and place. not to say positive thinking cannot be effective - though some take the idea too far, disconnecting from the reality that all life has its positive and negative.

great to hear you've bounced back and found a methodology that worked... :-)

Yes, I am very happy that I am feeling much better now . Thanks :D

@rok-sivante Thanks for your work sir.... Love it. Followed

greet energy, greetings

Would you say marijuana causes paranoia in everyone? Or just in some? I know some people experience paranoia right away and avoid pot for that reason. But do others experience the paranoia over time, not realizing its source? Asking for a friend. (lol, but really, I am)

Everybody is different. Body can react differently at different times. And different strains can produce different effects.

I do feel more tense and anxious when smoking and eat a lot more

when I was much younger, it was not the case... but became so in my 40s because I had quit smoking on a regular basis.

well said sir !

i think humans are ticking time bomb

agree... and I blog a lot about it... without any sugarcoating

so sad..

but we still have time !

I can see you had to dig real deep for this post. I wanted to respond to a few interesting points you made.

I had a fairly extensive affair with cannabis in my 20s, so I can relate very much to your experiences.

"All the motivational personal development doesn't grant a person total mastery of the flesh-and-bones humanity."

The motivational stuff may not bring you to any place of inner peace, but from my own direct experience, the eastern yogic disciplines will bring you much closer to physical and spiritual mastery and wholeness. That road is very, very long, but the results are lasting.

"At this point, all my informal training in writing copy and indoctrination in self-help and "spiritual" mumbo-jumbo would have me flip the script to paint out solve glorious solution to these "problems" of human fate."

There are great truths and insights hidden behind the "spiritual mumbo-jumbo," but they can only be gotten to through certain practices, not intellectual & philosophical discourse.

Reading, thinking and talking about the universe and the human condition will only get you so far.

Anyways, I hope my post doesn't come off as too preachy.

@rok-sivante Amazing job! Followed.

Thank you for the great post! I really like your writing :)

"And the reality is that there are certain facts of how this universe and these bodies operate which we'd be wise to accept. Such as: none of us are immune to the ultimate fate of death and a decline of certain functionalities until that conclusive point is reached."

There are few things in life that you can do nothing about, you just have to accept those things, any fear can eat you from inside and waste your valuable thinking time that could focus positive things like this awesome post ^^

Please check my last post, I think you will like it!
@paps
