Five plants in your bedroom to help you sleep better

I found this picture earlier whilst perusing the internet, on closer inspection I thought I needed to delve deeper into this and see if it really is true.

So the first one - Aloe Vera claims to clean the air, I thought all plants did this, am I missing something?? Also I thought it was more famous for skin conditions, i.e. putting it on your skin when you have sunburn. Also I know you can get the Aloe Vera juice to drink, it's quite tasty actually!

The second one - Lavender, is quite famous for making you relax and helping you to sleep, but honestly I don't think you would want the plant in your bedroom, it attracts all the bees and wasps and it spreads like wildfire! I think you are better off with a bit of the dried Lavender flower under your pillow.

Number three - Jasmine, is a climbing plant and can grow up to 15 feet tall, so unless you want your bedroom to become a jungle, I suggest you don't want this in your bedroom either!

Forth in line - Snake Plant, whilst the name doesn't sound too attractive, it's actually very easy to look after these plants, they can go weeks without being watered if you forget about them and are very hardy. It claims to take in carbon dioxide and puts out oxygen (which again, all plants do) so if you like the look of this it could be a winner, but I have seen better looking plants.

Last but not least - English Ivy, seriously?? English ivy (Hedera Helix) is an indoor and outdoor ornamental vine. This plant contains saponins, which have caused poisoning in cattle, dogs, sheep, and humans. Two chemicals in the sap can also cause severe contact dermatitis in sensitive humans. And this article is suggesting you have it in your bedroom!!!!!

Please guys and gals, don't believe everything you see on the internet, do your own research.
