Coming into the New Year, New Year, New You.
Every year we come to the end, while it may be sad it is also a powerful time. We get to reflect on the things we did, didn't do, and all the moments and memories we made. Whether we spent our time with family and friends, significant others or spent our time working. Everyone gets to reflect on the year, and take a moment to understand a few things. First we get to see what we did right, however sometimes the negative tend to outweigh the positives. We can see this with just about everything. It only takes one negative voice to ruin a happy mood. Regardless of the amount of love, one negative voice can alter perceptions. One negative day, a negative week, can turn into negative months, into a negative year. We look and see something, we see either A: Our goals were worked on, vigilantly, and progress was made, or we accomplished our goal, or B: Our goal was forgotten. Statistically speaking 80% of New Years resolutions fail by February.
Coming into 2019, I want you to take a moment and reflect on a couple of things, first and foremost what did you do right? Look into the positives and try to remain there, failure is just a step towards success, but now look at your failures objectively. Do not sit there regretfully, sit there as if you were not the one who experienced the failures. Look at them from the outside, how could you improve? 2019 should be the year for improvement. Not the year for outright success but the year for improvement, focus not on end game, but focus on the nitty gritty, day in day out of it. Improve daily. Succeed Daily.
Happiness is attained a few ways, but the fastest way to happiness is love. I challenge you to love yourself in 2019. Set goals, work towards them, whether you fail or succeed you tried, and that in itself is success.
