Working to procrastinate - Hot glass studio photos

in #life7 years ago

You know when there's been a job you have been putting off for ages but it gets to the point where you really must do it.

Yes today was one of those days. My bench was getting covered in rods of glass and it was time to put some away and gather up the short ones so I could "weld" them onto some clear handles to be able to get every last scrap of colour. Don't judge me, coloured glass is expensive.

That's better, all sorted and labelled on the ends of the handles so I know which colour is which.

Between doing those I was also talking to a few customers, looks like it was time to stop clearing up and make another mess on the bench.

I was cleared out of jellyfish last weekend, it was time to make more.

I like how my customers know when I need distracting from a job. Best ever type of procrastination, also know as proCRAFTination. I may still have to weld a few more shorts another day, I still have a few kicking about.

My bench is cleaner than it was though, so small victories?
