RE: The Benefits Of Being A Genuine Person - How To Be True To Yourself

in #life7 years ago

It's hard being a genuine person, tending towards introvert I find myself sometimes modifying my behaviour dependinf on the circumstances.

I know it may sound funny, but it can be hard being true to yourself and just being yourself. It takes courage and confidence.

I'm working on both :-)

Sort:

It does take courage. Getting into the habit of listening to your true self more than you listen to the external noise is a good place to start. To follow one's internal compass one first has to be aware that they have an internal compass.

Introverts are good at tuning into their instincts and once they shed their concerns of what others think about their choices they tend to be good at being genuine.

"To follow one's internal compass one first has to be aware that they have an internal compass" - this is so true ........

Now, telling which way is north is a whole other story.

That is the two skill :-)
