Sunshine and Anchors
What are you anchored to? Relationship enhancers or destroyers?

Here is today's post. Enjoy.

Charvels, Espresso and Van Halen stripes
Charvels, Espresso and Van Halen stripes

Good morning, everyone...

As you can see, my EVH handkerchief is pretty much baller. Since December, I've really returned to my roots of the early Van Halen stuff I'd listen to when growing up and learning to play guitar. Mind you, all pre-Hagar. There are some really incredible moments in those recordings if you listen carefully.

The Negative Past Affecting Positive Future? Think about this.

If somebody slapped you emotionally, but then followed up with candy and flowers, how does that influence your judgement and future? Some might call that rollercoaster 'abusive' -- and I will agree with them.

Today, I'm taking more inventory of things/ideas/situations in my life and realizing how good life truly is. It's humbling. There is always more to learn, lessons to learn. In that respect, I'm always learning. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, but it's our perspective after the lesson which ultimately counts.

My intuition, sense of self, and strength in action have NEVER steered me wrong all from being smart enough to 1) see the current situation, 2) the lesson, and 3) formulate the perspective.
Just like that: 1, 2, 3. Done.

Today's Thought: Make your day amazing and seek to inspire others. Cheers...

I might be missing Santa Monica. Sheesh. Look at that.

About

Good day to all of you, fellow Steemit people! As mentioned in my intro post, I'm an avid coffee junkie, guitarist, amp builder, etc. But something that sets me apart from the pack is the fact that on a daily basis, I post positivity. The Internet is abound with negativity and it certainly can take its tolls on those that read/see it. My contributions daily are an attempt to shine light in the darkness, help others, and bring quick observations and philosophies to the table that perhaps, will help you also. We're on this journey together, so check in and be well.
