A Walk through Time
Alright, folks, I am now spending some time sitting in front of my computer, typing out this sentence like the flow of my thought, filling this blank document with DIGITAL INK..and I end the sentence with a full stop.
So, there is NO EVIDENCE apart from the lines I have WRITTEN above, which shows that some TIME was spent. Why is it so?? why is Time, based on external pieces of evidence?? Why is Time different from other fundamental entities of the universe?? I will try to list out few instances to help the readers get a perspective on what Time really is.
If there was any entity that science has found, which would be used in any sector of physics, it is the entity called Time. “Time after Time” the question of Time has baffled generations of scientists, philosophers and intellects. Time is ‘fundamentally’ the ‘difference between momentary perceptions of two events’. When I say ‘fundamentally’, I mean it in the way that applies to the entire universe, and in the context of physics, it applies to any ‘frame of reference’.
When I say ‘momentary perception’, it means that there is a sequence of events happening, and the brain is trying to keep a record of these change of events, in the finest ways possible – like a ‘continuum’. When we began to draw markings on this continuum and defining a 'metric system' based on a various spectrum of processes, we stumbled across this fundamental entity called Time, to help everything from discovering lands to inventing phones, making machines to artificial intelligence. This definition and standardization of the ‘cosmic continuum of events’ as Time, has conquered everywhere and everything.
But there is also a different definition to it. Time is derived out of ‘Memories’ and ‘Feelings’ which is experienced by entities called ‘living’ which are brought into existence through ‘Birth’ and will cease to exist through experiencing ‘Death’. This sounds very trivial and easy sounding to look at. That is because we can easily make out that Time is bound to 'the living' and Time would be immaterial as the living dies, and the ups and downs of memories and feelings would stop.
The definition of time on the basis of feelings and moments was something nature had shown to everything that is living on this planet. Nature gave us the understanding of Time through days and nights, seasons and through interaction with other beings. Time was perceived differently by our ancestors, comparing to the way it is perceived now.
So it is important for humans, who are a 'product of nature', rather than a resource of a capital driven government, to understand which side of perception we fall into when we think about what time is - The Nature's way or The Human way. Nature's way tends to make people feel 'lively', Human way makes people get 'productive'.
CHOOSE WHAT YOU BELIEVE AND BELIEVE WHAT YOU CHOOSE.
Cheers, and have a good time.
