Meet the drink banned from the US for over 50 years Absenthe

Absenthe, The Green Fairy, is a bottled distilled spirit flavored with Wormwood, Anise, and Fennel. It is usually bottled at 100 Proof or higher. The example I have is 110 proof, though it is not a true Absenthe as bottled in Europe.
It is traditionally diluted with water and sugar before consumption.
