The best way to redesign your lifestyle (From rags to riches)
Born in Los Angeles, DeJoria, was a first-generation American. He started out his business life selling Christmas cards and newspapers before he even turned 10. He also spent time in a gang. The path ahead looked like a disastrous one for DeJoria. But, instead, he later created John Paul Mitchell Systems using a $700 loan. He lived out of his car and sold shampoo door to door. Later, he would diversify into diamonds, mobile phones and alcohol. But first it took him a long time to escape living out of his car.
Today you have the opportunity to redesign your life around what’s important to you and define success for yourself. Choose a lifestyle business to invest in. A lifestyle business is one where you prioritize lifestyle benefits over growth and profits. It makes you real money but one that also lets you enjoy more of the life you deserve. With little risk or cash investment, these new kinds of businesses can help you create a lifestyle that finally frees you from working for someone else. Plus, they can make you happier because you spend your time working on projects you choose with people you like. The money is not the point. Your lifestyle as the owner is. Look for legitimate opportunities that can bring you profit with a reasonable amount of continuing hard work, clever marketing, and creativity.
The best way is, invest your time to create profitable businesses that allow you the money and personal freedom to pursue lifestyles that you enjoy on a day-to-day basis, instead of only on weekends and during a few rushed weeks of vacation each year. Reallocate the time you waste online just surfing around, or watching silly videos to invest it in projects that will pay you back a financial or personal satisfaction return. Choose your hobbies, your entertainment, the books you read, and even your friends a little more carefully than you did before.
Sleep less. This is one of the best investments you can make to make your life more productive and rewarding. Most people do not need more than 6 hours to maintain an excellent state of health. Try getting up one hour earlier for 21 days and it will develop into a powerful habit. Remember, it is the quality not the quantity of sleep that is important. And just imagine having an extra 30 hours a month to spend on the things that are important to you.
