Did Aliens Help Build the Pyramids?
Last night, I stayed up late pondering a post by @trafalgar that I had read earlier in the day. Are aliens responsible for building the pyramids? It truly is a comforting thought to imagine that we are not alone in this universe and if you stop and think about the virtually endless size of the universe, it’s very possible that Aliens have already paid a visit to our lovely ball of dirt. Time and time again, you’ll see a headline about someone claiming to see UFO’s fly over their houses at night, but there’s never concrete evidence to back the claims. So, here’s the real question:
Was King Tut the first person to encounter extraterrestrial life?
Something doesn't seem right here...
Aliens and Egypt: A Brief History
Ever since the beginning of recorded history, there have been claims and theories about extraterrestrial life visiting the Earth and assisting us in the construction of our great monuments. A few of the most popular monuments rumored to be built by Aliens are: Stonehenge, Nazca Lines, and The Pyramids of Giza. The main support behind these theories is that, at the time, human technology wasn’t nearly advanced enough to construct some of these wonders, let alone construct them today. The Great Pyramid alone was constructed from hundreds of thousands of hand hewn stones that weight roughly 2 TONS EACH! If we were to attempt to duplicate this pyramid today it would be a technological feat beyond our capability. Someone tell me how this was a plausible construction project back then?!
Alien: "Open up man, the humans caught me! What should I do?!"
Shaggy: "Say it wasn't you"
The Ancient Pyramids: How Were They Even Built?
I honestly had no idea how to answer this myself, so I went ahead and did some research. Most people who specialize in Egyptian history agree that there existed a complex network of ramps along the side of these huge structures, but sadly, the blueprints to this ramp system were lost sometime during the 18th dynasty, so we’ll never know for sure.
What we do know is that it’s very possible that the ramps were wrapped around the side of the structure and had some type of pulley system integrated into it. Some experts argue that this pulley system offered a mechanical advantage equal to that of our technology today, but again, who really knows for sure? All we know for sure is that the Pyramids were built sometime between 2630 BC and 2611 BC.
When I wake up and its too late for breakfast
So, Were the Pyramids Built by Aliens?
Considering the combination of the ramp and pulley systems, as well as many other techniques not mentioned in this article, it is plausible that humans are the ones who are truly responsible for building the pyramids. To be honest, it’s highly unlikely that there was extraterrestrial help involved in the construction of The Great Pyramids, but how cool would it be if one day a bunch of Aliens show up and explains how they’ve been slowing nurturing the growth of our civilizations over the past thousands of years. Just imagine waking up tomorrow to a breaking news that the Earth is suddenly inhabited by aliens. How would you react? I’d definitely make a steemit post about it before I even got out of bed. Then again, maybe Aliens are just avoiding Earth because some of our recent elections and they’ll stop by in a few years once we've sorted everything out. For the time being, we can sit back and enjoy the idea of a world where we coexist with extraterrestrials and sleep soundly knowing that nobody’s going to come and abduct us in the dead of night.
What is Space is a very cool HD documentary. Give it a watch if you have the chance!

Interesting post! If you haven't you should watch stargate sg1. Danial Jackson in the show basically explains this theory.
Thanks! I just did a quick search to see what its about. I'm gonna add it to my summer movie list! Thanks for the recommendation :)
