RE: The Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse
There is a difference between using "them", "they", "others", or any label to communicate and using those words or any label to dehumanize people. What am I supposed to say, "The people that live on that land mass" or "Canadians?" It is a label, but the intention behind using it is not malicious. You are taking his words to mean something in and of themselves and ignoring the intention, the meaning, the-alien is trying to communicate. "No strict rulers, you mean you want a King that lets anything go right? So when someone lights your house on fire then that's ok because we don't want authority in our lives!" Obviously, that's not what he's saying.
