RE: Confessions of a Used Car Salesman #1: The Beginning

in #life7 years ago

There's Sheeps! I thought you wandered off the edge of the earth, or got sheared or something. ;)

Funny thing - my son just started working a few months ago at a kind-of second chance auto finance company. It's for peeps that were stupid enough to get a car repo'd or something, and they need a new car loan at 20%-30% to rebuild their credit. And that pays for him to be there, step by step, to micro-manage them and make sure they stay current and stuff.

Yup, that's opened his eyes a bit to how the other half lives. He's got some pretty good stories already.

And yeah, and I'm going to stop complaining now about how aloof he seems to be about his finances. Maybe he's not as bad as I have come to believe...

Happy to see you @sminchow! Glad to be missed. Going deep into the "what's available pool" kinda sucks, but I landed a good gig at a solid dealership.

The other half is a lost group of souls. Go easy on your son. Stories are compiling, I will likely retire on a book deal.
