Learning...learning and one more time learning...

in #life7 years ago

It is such an interesting change that recently happened to me...

How i was growing up: my parents have every time set up a goal in front of me. And i was like this donkey...

...running for my carrot to get an appraisal afterwards (for reaching my goals, of course).

So, why kind of impression did I have? Pretty clear and simple: first you, let's say, "graduate" from kindergarten :), then preferably with excellent notes you graduate from school, afterwards it is obviously expected that you get your bachelor and master degrees of course only with excellent notes....

(Russian marks of excellence for your successfully completed studies).

What is at the end? Yes, your parents are incredibly proud of you and even crying - so happy they are to have you, a kid with an awesome notes along your education way.

And then you happily find a work and spend there the rest of your life...And that is what killing my mind...Are you happy? were you happy at the end? NO! well, partly :)

But the thing is...you first of all keep studying not because it is super interesting for you, but because everyone around you expects you to do so...otherwise...there is something wrong about you.

And then you get your degree and complitely unsure of what you wanna do with your life: yes, you have found the job without any problems. But then...it is not smth that makes you happy...and then you start thinking...

You were sure, that as soon as you get your master (or whatever it is), you studying path is over: no more homeworks, no more projects, no more lectures at 8 am (which is super early for you). SO NAIVE... :)

Only afterwards you realize that it is basically the beginning. I have realized today that...

LIFE IS not only a JOURNEY...LIFE IS A SCHOOL, where every day you are LEARNING...to DISCOVER yourself.

Why? Because even day, even at your job you are keep learning: there are so a lot of situations that life brings you that helps you to make one step closer to your-inner-self. It might be a dialog with a customer-candidate or a client or a colleague. It might be even a conflict, where you discover smth new about your reaction on several things or realize your own priorities...It might be an unexpected situation on your way after the job or simply shopping...Life brings you lessons EVERY DAY. And if you recognize it...then you are able to see the things deeper, especially inside of you.

So, my dear steemian friends, my new discovery for this week: life is ongoing -and-never ending process of learning and discovering yourself and your own limits.

Don't be lazy, stand up, start learning (even if you do not believe you can manage it because of 1000 reasons). Just do that, just start...and this process will inspire you, will motivate you more and more and more...you will enjoy every moment of it...promised :)

Pfffff, enough philosophy for today. (i am not even sure if all these writings you may call philosophy to be honest. So, if you have an idea what it might be, let me please know :) )

Wish you a nice day! or evening! or just afternoon :)

See ya, guys
