Concept of Electric current flow
Electric Charge
An electron is the fundamental particle charged with a small and constant quantity or negative part of electricity. A Proton can also be defined as the fundamental positive Electricity where as neutron is uncharged which is neutral.
In an atom, the total number of electron is equal to the total number of proton. A charged atom is called ''Ion''. A body which has a number of ionized atom absorbed in it is also said to be electrically charged. It can be said that positive and negative charged bodies repel against each other.
The electron moves freely from one energy level to another which is moving in a concentric manner, it is term ''ELECTRIC CURRENT FLOW''.
It is said that current flow from a point of high energy level to a point of low energy level.
The positive side is said to be the point of high potential while the negative side is said to be the side of low potential.
The electron moves at he other side of the of the direction since the negative charged electrons are attracted to the positive potential the conventional current flows in an opposite direction to that of electron current.
