experiencing the miraculous our lady of penafrancia

good day steemit family! i just want to greet you again a blessed day to everyone in here! i just want to share my first visit to our lady of penafrancia we call her mama mary because i am a roman catholic so i used to have faith on her.

here is the history of Our Lady of Peñafrancia (Spanish: Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia in the Philippines, and Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francia or Virgen de la Peña de Francia in Spain) is a wooden statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary venerated in Naga City, Bicol, Philippines. The image comes from the original image enshrined in Salamanca, Spain. It is currently housed at the Peñafrancia Basilica where every September is held for the novena festivities in honor of the image as the principal Patroness and Queen of Bicol.
Pope Pius XI granted the image a Canonical coronation on September 20, 1924 via his Apostolic delegate, Monsignor Guillermo Piani. On December 3, 2015, a mosaic image of the Virgin Mary under this title was officially enshrined at the Vatican Gardens for the 14th slot at the pontifical mandate of Pope Francis. The ceremony was attended by then President of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino III who unveiled the image with honors.
as i entered inside the basilica i feel so amazed for what i saw because i feel the miracle and have a relax feeling. the mass was going on and i attended , the priest is so old and still he is good in delivering the mass. i saw the church is also old and they preserved its looks. i pray hard for my hard times in my life and i feel happy because i know my prayers will be granted sooner.
