In the beginning you might not see many rewards for your posts because no one knows you. Clever titles may help a little, but there's a better way.
The best way to get noticed is to check out other steemers' posts and comment on them. Also, commenting on comments and getting into engaging discussions that is helpful and interesting get you upvotes/rewarded.
You get rewarded when you upvote high quality posts because that brings value to the community. When you give value to others you receive rewards, recognition/followings and a knowledge of steemit and more.
