Upvoted and re-steemed. I have long suspected the EFF of being controlled opposition, something I have explored at some length in my Shadow History of Burners series. I know a great deal about SecureDrop also. Rather than a lengthy comment here I will write my own Steemit post sharing what I know and suspect, I will tag you in it @suzi3d.

There is quite a bit of overlap between the EFF and Burning Man, which I have provided evidence to show is a staging ground for DARPA projects with many military/intelligence connections. In particular I talked about John Perry Barlow in Part 6 here and the EFF in Part 7 here.
