How does the fog know when to roll in?

in #life5 years ago

Lately, I've seen the fog at the same time every day.

It's very mysterious and thick, and it comes to visit my home every afternoon. Does it know that I need to be comforted in all that white, misty covering? Surrounded in the frosty-pale white light. Right about then I begin to get drowsy.

Do I get drowsy because my fog comes? Or does the drowsiness call to my fog?

Does it watch my little home from its hiding place and wait patiently for the clock to strike one before its advance? Or does it sense the heavy tug of my eyelids and respond in kind?

I hope it's not too offended that I appreciate the thought of its chilly hug from inside the comfort of my home. An embrace should always be welcome but truthfully, I prefer the warmth of sunshine.

Maybe the afternoon visit is just its daily offer to change my mind. Maybe one day, I will find myself wandering out to soak in a hug from a cloud. To test it before judging it. Perhaps it offers a different kind of warmth.

After all, igloos can be warm and they're made of snow.

Good day to my cupcake loving crew: @jamerussell, @crazy-unicorn, @thekittygirl and @brittandjosie.

Thank you immensely @rycharde! I will check it out tomorrow, and I will also go visit your blog as well. Thank you for meeting me

Just offer the fog a little cupcake, and it will become your whimsical servant and maybe remove the toothpicks from your eyelids @stormcharmer!
So you need to add some really good tags to get your posts out there, and it's a tricky subject, these tags! Come bring some cupcakes and we'll have the coffee on in the Terminal, and best of all it's free!!! Have a wonderful day/night wherever your fog I mean you live!

Hello, my friend. Your notes burn away the gloom in my foggy days. Do tell about these tags!

Be advised that it is a long subject, and I am not the resident expert, we have people there who know the ins and outs of tags, but it's extremely important to use good tags for what you are posting about, to get maximum benefits of exposure.
The other thing is that talking on Steem will whittle away your Resource Credits, which is what is used to compute your posting , upvoting, commenting and following. Everything has a cost, and it's free in the Terminal, as our Discord server is like a tool resource for us and any Steemian who wants to use it.

Yes, I have been told that there is a cost for comments and talking, but it seems that so many comments on post are from automated machines. I think it might be worth the price to have real human engagement on my posts, as that is really what I think I am here to enjoy. Thank you for always looking out for me. You really are a great help :-)
Someday, I might wander away from steemit and onto the other places where people talk, but for now, I will always say hi to you in comments here! I rather enjoy it :-)

Congratulations @rycharde, 5% upvote has been shared with your successful call on the post that shared by @stormcharmer!
