Vermont ~ Another Green State
The Vermont Senate on Wednesday gave final approval to a bill that would allow recreational use of marijuana, putting Vermont on course to become the first state to legalize pot by an act of the Legislature rather than through a citizen referendum. (Jan 10) AP
That is quite interesting.
Is Senate approval legalization? Or does the Governor have to sign the law too? What about the State House of Representatives? Have they already approved it?
Some states shown above with no laws broadly legalizing medical marijuana provide limited access under certain circumstances. States like Alabama and Mississippi, for instance, maintain laws permitting medical marijuana for severe epileptic conditions.
Other states, such as Virginia, enacted laws decades ago allowing for the possession of marijuana if individuals received prescriptions from doctors. Federal law, however, prohibits doctors from prescribing marijuana, rendering those laws invalid. Doctors can only write a recommendation for medical marijuana, which is different than a prescription.

Medical cannabis oil supporters want to legalize cultivation in Georgia
In my opinion, the federal and state governments should repeal ALL laws that criminalize cannabis.
Our brains have cannabanoid receptors. This is the very system that eliminates virtually all harmful effects of this benign plant. It is completely legal in D.C. so I think it is time for our government to allow all of the citizens of The USA to be able to use this benefitual plant as we wish.
And it is the best anti-depressant on the planet.. Tiz true!

best anti-depressant, and so much more!
thansk for the article @strypes.
Thank you @captainklaus I appreciate your comment and support. I think it is so weird that the laws regarding a natural medicine are so restrictive in some states (like mine) but is perfectly ok in other states. It is crazy.
and here in Austria it's getting even stricter...
