wowfakta A 70-year-old man from Texas, has lived in an iron lung machine for 60 years since contracting polio at the age of six.

In 2015, Nick Isenberg posted a Paul video with his iron lung device in an effort to get help.

It was done so that his iron lung device was awake because the company had stopped making those parts that seemed to be considered outdated.

Paul suffered from polio in 1952 and most of his body was paralyzed from under his neck, but that did not stop him going to law school and becoming a lawyer.

Sadly it was almost impossible for Paul to reach the trial, because he could not leave the iron lung for several hours and represent the client in his wheelchair as usual.

These days polio vaccinations are offered as part of the NHS childhood vaccination program in the UK and are given by injection in five separate doses.
