The most important thing they don't teach you at school. BUT WHY?
If someone had ever told me that it is not at all important to be better THAN someone (or everyone else, in this matter)... It is only important to be better TO everyone, every day.
And I keep wondering why does it take so long for a person to realize that you shouldn't strive for perfect. Perfect isn't happy, it isn't even real. You can't ever be perfect as a whole. Only perfect as a part. And for that matter - you just have to find your fit.
I love this happy life recipe by Faris Yakob, a creative nomad I adore:
What do you think?
Do you want to be perfect or happy? (you can only choose one)
I try to be perfectly happy :)
Happy for sure! And I replace perfection with striving for the highest version of myself which is always changing as I'm realizing higher potential.
Love that last meme there too btw!
