WIS: Consistency is Extremely Serious in Business...Part X

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Practically, consistency means that we should stand behind our words.

If we give people advice and we do something opposite, to the advice we give, it is difficult for these advises to expect results.

Did it happen to You to go to a doctor who smokes or likes to drink? The same Doctor Gives you advice: "Do not smoke and do not drink because it endangers your health!" In these words there is no real power and they mislead people with their inconsistency.

A friend told me the story of a spiritual teacher, a mother and a sick child.

The mother came to the spiritual master and asked him to advise the child not to eat sugar and sweets because he could die of the disease, he had.

When the mother invited the child to come in, the spiritual master said: "Come in after ten days"...The mother was disappointed, but she came at an agreed time. She went in with the child, and the spiritual master then told the child: "Do not eat sweets and sugar anymore!"

Why didn't he tell the child right away?

The answer is simple, the spiritual master stopped eating sweets and sugar, because only then he was consistent and could stand behind his words.

People will listen to advice from those who are consistent...Start from Yourself and think whether You will work with person that stands behind the words, He says or You will work with the person that doesn't do that?

Things are very simple, just we need to harmonize our words and deeds.

If we give people advice that we do not adhere to ourselves, I do not say that this is not right, but it is very good to tell the truth, to work hard and to maintain these principles alone itself... It is more likely, that such advice will be accepted, in The ultimate case, everybody will experience you as a sincere person. You continue to work on yourself, because knowledge goes first, and then realization.

Quality of consistency:

  1. I give advice that I stick to

  2. I give advice that I do not adhere to myself, but I honestly perform and tell people it

Keep up with this kind of work and nobody will consider you dishonest and frivolous. Over time, adjust your life and strive for perfection, this is the right path to success that leads to the true wealth.

Bien, Gracias y tu ?

Hi. Respect for the spiritual master you mentioned, as it should be, acts by example. As a teacher I am aware of this action for a child or young person, we only educate them expressing what we preach, the lie confuses them.

Thanks for Your kind words...

Ahh, the power of being consistent.

It’s heralded as the strategy for achieving long-term greatness in almost any category: your body, business, art, relationships, emotional health or spirituality.

The problem? It’s the one thing we mortals can struggle with the most — especially when we’re trying to improve, well, anything. Like it or not, being consistent is essential if you want to make any significant change in your life. It’s also a must have skill if you’re looking to kick some serious ass and become world-class.

Spirituality is very important...

Very true. I always say that in business it's better to be consistent than to be perfect.

Yes, you are right...

Actually, at first we need to change for any positive. But we love to give advice.

True. As a matter of fact, those who are not consistent in their actions lose credibility and the right to direct others

If course, they have no right to say anything...

Thanks for this post @tatjanastan, its a big encouragement to me in very many ways.

YES!
consistency will break the back of every difficulty

this text reminded me of my mother's advice, she says that if you want someone to be responsible you must start with the example, being responsible, very true @ tatjanastan people must have consistency between what we say and what we do

Yes, do to people what you want them to do to You...
