Through my art, I could make you feel things you never knew you could feel. All artists have this ability, but only if it is that artist’s special skill. Being specialized in a hard skill is good. Each of us need that facet of ourselves. But that should not dictate, nor be the end all be all. It is good to build three kinds of businesses- one is not built around your skill or passion but is a training ground. The second business is built around your skill, and another is built around your passion. After these three businesses are running, research investing. What excess money you make from your businesses, invest it into an investment vehicle in an asset class. What excess money you make from that form of investment, use it to invest in another investment vehicle in a totally different asset class. Repeat the process until you have one investment vehicle in every known asset class, and there are but a few- commodities, paper, land, and businesses.
