I believe this is called locally a Lady Slipper (a type of Wild Orchid perhaps?)
If you look closely enough, even something as simple as a stalk of grass can be beautiful.
Seems like our lives over the last year or so.
Nature reclaims all. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, rust to flowers.
It's quite the contrast to see this Rhododendron with its leaves curled up in the winter and then like this in the Summer
Look a little closer.
