Staying Positive

in #life7 years ago

Have you ever been to a place for work, admittance or some kind of offer and they tell you...
“We are very sorry, we just gave the offer out, if only you came two days earlier” or “that space was taken by someone recently” just something that make you want to wish yourself into non existence.
Everyone include yourself keeps blaming you for coming two days late. Meanwhile you saw the advert a day ago and worked eight hours to compile a presentation to the company. Still every one blames you and that’s not the worst part. The worst part is inwardly you agree with them. Deep down in your heart you call yourself names, slow, unresponsive, ill luck……

cut off all negativity ties

All bullcrap! (a word used to describe the highest form of bullshit there is or will ever be on earth).

Quit that!
We kill ourselves with regret and worries a thousand times before our death.
What could have, should have looks better that what is. When we always think that the choices we did not make and the actions we did not take or the actions that did not occur to us are not what our lives depend on.

In a way if we keep looking back at all that could have been we would be crippled with the fear of making decisions. You cannot not go out of your time and if you did all you could and still did not reach that mark then perhaps that was not for you.

First how do you make decisions if you keep thinking that the choices you don’t take is always better than those you did. How do you deal with second guessing with every step you take.

Then after making those decisions and they really turn out wrong, how do you live with those regrets. Those cancerous thoughts may gnaw the life out of your soul.

Here’s what I think, if you want to live a life of fulfillment you have to trust your struggle and if your struggle is not enough to trust then trust God. Trust that he has a plan for your life and that as you pray and plan your year your life would fall in line with those plans he has for you.

You have every right to be happy

In 2018 do not try to outrun yourself, everything might seem rushed but learn to work at your own pace. Do not shoot yourself in the foot for things you cannot possibly change in the past, if you missed an opportunity, trust God and believe in better things in store for you. Life does not end after a failed attempt and I believe there’s no mistake we cannot recover from.

So now there is a lot of trusting to do, there is a lot of praying to do but when you’re done in your closet step out in style knowing that even your mistakes will work out for your good.

There's an old adage: 'Misery Loves Company." One should always try to rise above the miserable emotions of others.

you can't be more correct

Very true; sometimes we worry too much.

Thanks a lot for this encouragement. Truly, we've all got our own specific time and how we utilize it matters, I pray God give us the grace to recognize and utilize our time positively when it comes...

Thanks for the good words..
