Stars which run entire solar systems on their own and get consumed eventually in that process. Stars without whom our existence would have probably been impossible and unfathomable.

Let’s move on from stars to food. Food that is a source of delight, food that keeps us alive. Let’s talk about the single biggest mover of evolution and the history of life. Food, that is simple yet delicious. Food that hides a story of its own. Let’s talk about food and its journey from sunlight to our plate. Let’s talk about food, that drives us everyday to do almost everything that we always do. Let’s talk about food, and how it remains a luxury for billions – those who have been cursed with perpetual hunger as well as those who have been blessed with the ability to consume all the food in the world. Let’s talk about food, the story of human existence.

Once done with food, let’s finally talk about art. Art that is a general term and includes every single form of creative expression that enables us to speak and write and talk and discuss and document and display and move and arouse and awake. Art, that which is present in some form or other in all humans. Art that is practised by a bangle-maker in Firozabad while blinding his eyes over the years, and art that is carried out by a housewife in making and shaping the lives of all her family and filling them with joy and happiness, and also art that is performed by a musician in a festival stage. Let us talk about art, about expression and language and creativity, that thing that distinguishes us from everything else in the universe.
