A Look Back At Amazing Technology

I was just thinking of some cool technology that isn’t as great or awesome as modern technology. The first thing that came to mind was the space program. If you have never seen one of these things, they are impressive. I remember coming home from LAX one night while they were in the middle of moving this one down the road (And filming a cool Toyota Super Bowl commercial). Hard to believe we built these amazing things back in the 70s and launched them starting in the 80’s. There was a day when we all held our breath and watched them launch into space and cheered when they returned home. Now… either we accept that others are doing it privately, so it’s no big deal… or we just don’t have the same drive that we did 40 years ago to do amazing things.
