Transformation Of Women Figure
Results of some surveys indicate that now women are half a stone bulkier, two inches taller, and have an increase of three numbers in their shoe sizes than what they had sixty years back. In the 60s, a large number of British women had a trim and slender physique with a 5ft-2inches petite figure.
The shoe size was relatively smaller that time, which is 31/2, and most of the women were slim enough to wear the size 12 dress. The lifestyle too was very different before. Today, majority of the women work in offices while at that time the women were more active than they are today. The slim and trim figures may be due to the then active lifestyle.
Let us directly jump to 2019, and we notice that we were never as careful about our figures as we are now, but still most among us have ballooned. We are taller, bulkier, and less curvilinear as it has been pointed out by the UK National women figure Survey.
The UK survey was conducted in 1951 last time, but you can easily see the difference between the survey statements, and the present day women figure. It is very astonishing overall. Although it is good to have a bit taller height, but the weight, and shoe size have increased as well, which is quite fearful. Today, the hourglass figure constitutes measures like 38-34-40. Alas! Many women are striving hard to attain the same ideal figures.
As far as the hip area is concerned, it has now increased by one and a half inch. Similar is the case with the busts. Moreover, the waist area is six, and a half inches wider than it earlier was, which shows that the tummy has bulged out more than before. With such measures, not only our figure is distorted, but health is also affected.
The increase in height shows that the diets are better than before, and our diet is essentially a balanced diet, which helps in growth. Moreover, it may be due to the presence of improved sanitation conditions, good quality medication, and because of warm houses also. All these are positive attributes to increase in height.
On the other hand, the weight gain is an issue nowadays, and the credit goes to the sluggish lifestyle. Now the people are more inclined towards indoor activities. Rather than staying active, or indulging themselves in energetic activities, they prefer to watch television. There is also little or even no workout on daily basis.
It is easier to gain weight, rather than reducing it. You are bulky not because you were destined to be, but because of your attitude towards yourself.
