RE: Weekly Update Post - [Week 2]

Exactly right - even if you didn't hit your goal of 7, you came very close!

My goal is usually to write the post the day before, so I have time to let it sit and look at it with fresh eyes before uploading. However lately, I'm doing them on the fly and sharing them at random times of the day. I'd gotten into a decent rhythm with my Wordpress blog, and I'm hoping to do the same here once the holidays are over.

I'm following you now, so I'll keep an eye open for your short story! 😃

Thank you! And I should probably do like you do, write them the day before. I just get so excited when I finish one so I want to share it with the world immediately, the only problem with that is that only very few will have a chance to see it if it is posted at an odd hour.

I hadn't even considered the time of day factor here yet. On my WordPress blog, I try to have the posts up by 8am in my time zone, then work on promoting them on social media haphazardly throughout the day. Might be why my readership there is still relatively small...LOL!

Oh, and another thing that helped me tremendously was to do theme days. At the moment I have Microblog Mondays (short, social media-sized posts), Tarot Tuesdays, Witchy Wednesdays, and Foto Fridays. Now that I plan to post on Steemit at least once a day, I think I might do something like, "Thankful Thursdays" (gratitude type stuff), "Social Saturdays" (sharing interesting posts from others) and "Silent Sundays" (just pictures, no words). Since I started doing themes, it's much easy to focus and post.

Oh, and completely forgot to mention - I nominated you today for that 7 day B&W photo thingy that's been making the rounds. 😄 📷💝
