The DO's and DONT's of the 4th of July...

in #life7 years ago

As an ER nurse there are few things I often see on the 4th of July no matter where I travel. These are the DO's and DONT's of 4th festivities...

DO Drink Responsibly 🍻

Nothing wrong with celebrating, but DONT forget to hydrate. The most commonly noted celebratory repercussion is DEHYDRATION. You will feel absolutely terrible!!

DONT Drink and Drive 🚘

Take an Uber, LYFT, or a call a sober friend.

DO enjoy a good barbecue and amazingly good food🍔🌭

DON'T eat anything that has been sitting out for a while, especially seafood 🍤 and DONT overeat 🍔🌭🍔🌭🍔🌭🍔🌭🍔🌭

This guy competitively eats. He's superhuman! Regular people look like this...

DO enjoy an jaw dropping firework show 💥

DONT lose your fingers!!!

Do sport the Red White and Blue 🇺🇸

DONT sport it from the back of a police car 🚔

All and all have a festive 4th! Be Safe and Enjoy!
Peace, Love, and Prosperity -V-

Thanks and I hope you have some time off to enjoy the holiday

I worked overnight from the 3rd to the 4th, but I'm off tonight and look forward to a firework show. Enjoy your 4th as well! Be Safe :)
