The Future - Artificial intelligence and the Problem of the human need for meaningfulness

Thinking of the future can be really terrifying, especially since our technological progress is almost at an exponential rate.

What will happen in the future, where are we going?

Today I want to share some thought with you and I want to encourage you to believe in humanity no matter what is going to happen.

Recently the first artificial "kid" has been created. An AI coded an AI that was better than any AI created by humans in that domain. This is an early sign of how AI will slowly overtake humans in almost any given domain.
Looking at Cars you can already see the road we are going down, with autonomous driving cars millions of people will lose their jobs, think of taxi drivers, truck drivers etc. all of them will have to search for new jobs.
This is only the beginning, I believe with the exponential growth in technology that we are going to lose around 80-99% of our jobs in the next 50 years.
Everything that can be automated, will be.

With that come multiple HUGE problems, we will have millions of people without jobs in the future. Simply because there are not enough jobs for everyone.

Why is that a Problem

We as humans are in a real paradox situation, we are aware of our decaying and with that are aware of time.
So life is bound to a lot of pain, seeing everyone slowly dying around can be really tough to go through.

One of the things that make our life endurable is the feel to be needed, to have responsibility.
But if AI can do anything that humans can do, even better, you won't be needed anymore.

So if we don't have jobs, what will we do in the future. How are we going to make our life's endurable and meaningful ?

This is a good question. Predicting the future is hard and the most accurate thing I can say about it is, that what I think is most likely wrong.

Anyway, this is where I think cryptocurrencies will come and Safe the day.
I believe our life experience will slowly turn into something RPG like. Cryptocurrencies like Geocoin or Experience Points
already have some attributes of that.

I think we will earn credits for everything useful we do, that we can spend to buy stuff. You visit a new place, you get some kind of achievement and some credits. You work out, study, practice etc. all of the stuff we already do will be rewarded and while we will slowly process our skillset, we will get more and more difficult stuff to do.

This may sound a like a utopia, but I believe this is certainly a possibility.
