            DEAR STEEMIT FAMILY ,

Islam arrived late in the Korean peninsula It can also be estimated from the fact that the first mosque of South Korea was completed in 1976.

According to a report by Pew Research, the number of Muslims in North Korea was 3,000 in 2010, 76,000 in South Korea.

Although the lives of Korean Muslims, it is like a mystery to the rest of the world.

JTBC Entertainment, a channel featuring video shows on YouTube,  recently did a show on the same question in his program 'Abnormal  Summit'.

Two Muslims participated in the show, in which the Muslim girl of a  Korean origin was Ola, Zahid Hussain of the other Pakistani origin.

A question was put in front of both, how is the life of a Muslim in Korea?

 Zahid's talk

Zahid explains that after seeing some comments on the internet, he was quite surprised to see people's view of Islam.

"If you want to eat halal meat, go to your country, what are you doing here, I have seen many such suggestions."

"There were some good comments like someone wrote that not all Muslims  are extremists but all extremists are Muslims, I do not think they  understand it."

 What do you say ola

Ola Bora Song adopted Islam only in the year 2007. Then he was ten years old.

They regret that Korea has a lot of distance between people and Islam. Due to these distances, miscreants have arisen.

"In everyday life, there is little chance to learn about Muslims, because the number of Muslims in Korea is not very much."

"The way we hear about Muslims, the news of it is often news, but the news of the Muslims is due to an accident."

"And this is why the negative image about Muslims goes strong."

"Korean people see Islam as a religion that understands women by lowering them, promotes the use of hijab."

"I think that when people begin to understand each other's cultures, things will change."

 Definition of Islam

Zahid says that it is not right to link the definition of Islam to the extremists of the so-called Islamic organization.

"Extremism is not a country, there is no culture, no religion, just some people are making money through it.

"Definition  of extremism also changes with political reasons. This definition is so  flexible that a similar incident happens anywhere 'shooting' and  'shooting' somewhere."

 What do statistics say

The US intelligence agency FBI data say that non-Muslims were involved  in the 94-percent extremist attacks that took place between 1980 and  2005.

According to Eurolol data, in 2009, there were 294 extremist attacks in Europe in 249 years, in 2010.

In 2009, only one suspected suspicion went to a Muslim and in 2010, there were three incidents of Muslim involvement.

According to the Global Terrorism Database, there are 1,70,000  extremist incidents since 1970, according to the organization that  gathers information about extremist incidents across the world.

Zahid raises the question that Muslims in the world are around 1.8  billion and how fair it is to justify the entire Muslim community for  the works of some Muslims.

This  meeting of Ola Bora Song and Zahid at the 'Abnormal Summit' show also  discussed the custom of polygamy between popular customs and wearing the  hijab.
