Of course for people concerned about truth and liberty, that is the way we look at it.... but in the eyes of the "highest courts/opinions in the land" of the USSA, they have all said they want him taken in for treason essentially.
So with that said it reveals their intentions.
Better to go with the safe route and honour what Edward has said in his own words - that should bear some weight.
I think it is clear he worked on the inside and is HIGHLY intelligent and thus has demonstrated he is sharper than the bulk of the populus WRT a LOT of things, including the direction of his own situation.
