Here Goes 3 Simple Ways to Kill the Self-doubt in You!
For all womenfolk, here’s a set of questions to ponder! When each of us is born to win, why is that only a few of us utilize the potential and become a role model? Which is that trait that makes some winners and others losers in life? What is that one dreadful habit that makes us reluctant to dream higher like our male counterparts?
Well, we’re talking about self-doubt. It hinders your self-confidence and makes you lead a life different to what you deserve. Women mostly do not act up to their talent due to self-doubt. They fear to aim till the skies. They think a thousand times before taking a step, and mostly end up doing nothing. They live their life struggling between personal and professional commitments.
Can you relate to these statements? It is time to rethink then. Listed below are three simple ways to the kill the devastating habit of self-doubt, and lead a confident life ahead.
Acknowledge your success
You are really worthy of those accomplishments you got, aren’t you? Self-doubt often keeps you away from acknowledging your accomplishments. Practice yourself to kill that thought. Note down the winning moments in life.
Also do an analysis of moments of self doubt and how you came out of such circumstances as a winner. Having a better understanding of the intensity of accomplishments, and the courage you had to do it, will psychologically boost your confidence levels.
Say no to doubtful thoughts
Your thoughts and emotions are not always the last words, be it on anything. Acknowledge the fact that the thoughts that invoke self-doubt are just thoughts, and not necessarily the truth.
Here’s a wonderful exercise to kill the self doubting thoughts. Make two columns on a paper, and write the self-doubting statements on one side, and counter-statements on the other side. You can write even the simplest of things in this way, and thereby be self-motivated each day.
Watch your actions each day
This is an exercise you need to follow every day, which is sure to give you incredible benefits. Start writing a journal. Note down all happenings of the day, be it you have made a new recipe or you have carried out a productive meeting.
Also, ≥point ≥≥≥out the things that made you upset that day like losing a client or ignoring an opportunity. The former list will be longer than the latter. We’re sure
Stay confident!
Copying a quote from J.M.Barrie, a great novelist, “The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it.” Therefore, believe that you can! It’s the first step to becoming a winner.
Finally, find time to celebrate your success. No matter how small it is. Motivation is around us everywhere, but we fail to recognize it mostly. And the best motivation is definitely your past success and accomplishments.
Keep yourself motivated and ignore the self-doubts. Stay cheerful, confident, and awesome always!
