Staving Off Anxiety Through Art
Anxiety can hit you at any time for any reason.
Mine has been acting up a lot recently and I've been struggling to keep it at bay. One activity that helps keep my mind and hands focused in the present moment is drawing.
I've never drawn anything better than scribbles and stick figures; that's why drawing as an anti-anxiety activity surprised me. I follow simple tutorials on YouTube.
Here's a drawing I did of Ice King from Adventure Time. Should I start signing my work as vaporwavebabe or does everyone know that I clearly didn't steal these mediocre drawings?
Art also helps me with my anxiety. It's a great thing you're into it, too! nice drawing, though. Keep it up!
Thank you!
