Goals - What the hell do you want to do with your life?
Are you living the life you want right now? Are you living the dream? Or are you unhappy about having to go to a nine-to-five everyday, wasting your life away slowly? Which one is it? Do you have a plan from moving from where you are, to where you want to be? If no, then maybe this post is for you.

Goals, it's how tomove from where you are, to where you want to be. Though, it is rarely a direct route, obstacles are a given. However, with a plan, the process can be streamlined. As Thomas Carlyle stated, "A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder."
Imagine if you will, a ship leaves port, and sets sail with no clear destination in mind. Of course when he started, there was some initial effort. The question now is, where are you going? If you know that at least, how long do you plan to take? This ship, if lucky, might arrive at some port. Which port it is, is a whole other problem. Is it a deserted island, an island full of cannibals, a tropical paradise, Atlantis or jagged rocks the size of icebergs? All will be fair game.
So how do you change this? How to get what you always wanted and where you want to be? You set goals. Like a ship, you choose a destination, you choose a route to get there and set an expected time to get from one port to the next. If there is an obstacle, your job is to alter the plan at that time to manage the situation, and then continue on your way. Use your life choices as a rudder to guide you to your goal. If there is a storm in way, choose whether going around or through it would be the best strategy. Heck, maybe returning to shore and waiting it out is also an option. As long as you have a goal and a plan, everything that happens from start to finish are stepping stones towards your destination. Even the most manifest structure starts with one brick.
So what are your goals? How do you plan to accomplish those goals? When you do accomplish them, what then? When you decide this, work your ass off to achieve them. And remember, you might fail and most likely will the first, the second, third, tenth, hundredth time, but if you believe in yourself, you will reach . Not every race is a sprint, some are marathons.
Good luck to you all. May you all achieve all the things you have ever wanted in life.
