Christian Rome

in #life4 years ago

What would have happened if Christianity hadn't become the official religion of the Late Roman Empire? What if Buddhism—being much more tolerant of previous religions—was imported instead? The constant wars with Persia—the original Aryan empire—weakened both Persia and Rome, in the same way WW1 and WW2 weakened European civilisation. The fate awaiting western civilisation is in many ways similar to that of both Persia and Rome. History doesn't repeat, it rhymes. Who people look to for salvation, is critical to the development of history. The future is made now.
