Nate is Now a Hurricane, I Fear for The Gulf Coast

Our beauty, Nate, has now split the Yucatan Channel and is officially a Hurricane. That was not supposed to happen. Nate was supposed to be a Tropical Storm for a little longer than this. Now he's a hurricane, heading into very favorable waters to intensify. Yikes.

I fear for the Gulf coast. That's a lot of warm water, without sheer. This could become very serious in short order.
