RE: The Drive-in Theater - An American Tradition

in #life7 years ago

The first movie I can remember seeing in a Drive In was "Your Cheatin' Heart (1964) The Hank Williams Story." My Father was a big Country Western fan and he piled all of us Kids in the back of the Station wagon to go see this movie. I was seven years old and fell asleep during the first movie before the Feature film so I missed it.

Having you fall asleep was all part of the parent's secret plan to have alone time. Good memories and good times.
