Increase your internet-speed and your privacy by using Cloudflare's new DNS 1.1.1.1
Many of you may already know Cloudflare as one of the most famous DDoS-protection providers. Some time ago they launched a new public DNS-service which promises faster internet with increased privacy.
Another advantage is the avoidance of provider-specific lockouts of websites just like the public Google DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4). However Google is not very famous for privacy.

I'm using it and for now I can say it seems to be slightly faster than Google's Public-DNS and more reliable than my provider's DNS (Unitymedia Germany).
About the privacy I can't tell you very much but I think Cloudflare is more reputable in terms of privacy than Google.
