Long weekend near Ouareau Lake in Quebec
Our friends invited us to stay with them in the cottage near Ouareau Lake. The plan was to spend three nights on Victoria Day weekend (Which is celebrated in Quebec as Patriot's Day).
Our main activity of course was fishing.
I was a little bit disappointed by the fishing in this area.
We couldn't catch nothing but small yellow perch.
But we had enough to make a nice fish soup.
Saturday morning met us with the rain and cold which we successfully escaped in the covered outdoor hot tub.
And this was, as usual, pleasant treat :)
Fortunately the rain didn't spoil the complete weekend and we had an opportunity to enjoy kayaking.
We have nice inflatable Advanced Elements Convertible kayak, which always bring for such trips.
In general the weekend was very good. We were missing a better fishing and a little bit of hiking, but other than that no complains :)
